Private Duty Nursing

  • Our Private duty nursing services are provided by licensed professionals and Home Health Aide under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Care and treatment are provided in accordance to plan of care approved by the Physician.

  • We provide nursing for children from 4-16 hours per day in their homes or at school. This care is provided so that parents can rest, work, or go to school.

  • Our qualified and specialized nursing staffs are competent in Ventilator & Tracheostomy Management, Tube Feedings, IV therapy, Wound Care and Medication Management & Administration.

  • Home infusion/IV services- Our skilled nurses work with the physician and pharmacist, and educate the patient/family in home infusion or will directly administer the medication.

 Our Private Duty Nursing provides the following services: 

  • Patient Assessments & Education

  • Prenatal Assessments

  • Postnatal/Newborn Assessment

  • Case Management

  • Wound Care & Dressing changes

  • Disease Management Education 

  • Infusion Therapy IV/IG

  • Rx Injection Training & Patient Education

  • Catheter, G-Tube feeding

  • Colostomy & Tracheotomy Care

  • Post Surgical Wound Care

  • Assessment of Nutrition, Hydration, Bowel and Bladder Functions 

  • Medication Administration

  • Other services allowable under the Illinois State Nurse Practice Act.

Our Nurses may attend physician appointments to enhance care coordination. Some of the conditions and diagnoses of our patients include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Respiratory Disorders

  • Feeding Disorders

  • Cardiovascular Abnormalities

  • Seizure disorders

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Congenital Abnormalities

  • Spinal Cord Injuries 

  • Anoxic and Traumatic Brain Injuries
